Incredible photo!
Thank you – I thought so too. You should really check out the rest of her / his ( a bit of gender confusion going on here 😉 ) stream on flickr that I linked too – I think there are about 3-5 more in that series 🙂
Funny you should post this. Right now, for me, vision is the art of finding a spot far enough from my eyes that things are no longer blurry. I either need new glasses or longer arms.
Ha ha 🙂 Yeah this is slowly creeping up on me too – I remeber standing at the bus stop a couple of weeks (months? who knows?) ago and not being able to read the number of the front of the bus until it was almost right in front of me – Since shortsightedness is genetic and part of my genetic gene pool, I’m pretty sure I’ll have to do something about this sooner or later 😉
try also with this one 😉

Yes, I saw that one too, but I really loved the other one. Great photos – so artistic. Thank you so much
🙂 K.
If “Vision is the art of seeing the invisible.” What is hearing the unheard?
The “Jeanne d’Arc – Syndrome”? 😉 No, seriously, good question. Not really sure, but maybe “clairaudience” – What do you think? 🙂
lol. clairaudience. haha.
I don’t know, but I think there’s something to it, right? People throw the word “vision” around a lot where I work, and it’s something only leadership is ‘allowed’ to do. They get to chart the course ahead, because supposedly they can see where the heck we are all going. … as if they’ve got access to the magic crystal ball. and I know they don’t (nothing but a bunch of entitled hooligans) but… I think that if it’s possible to ‘see’ into the future, and predict things to come, then should we also be able to use any sense or feeling to elicit more from our current states, about the future or common conversations? I’m kind of thinking out loud here…
I agree it IS completely overused. Also imo it has nothing to do with seeing, but rather with sensing. I believe some people have learned to trust their gut feelings better (and combine it with experience, knowledge and such). Vision might be just that: Trusting your own feeling about what you believe will make the best decision now in the future.
If you do find that magic 8 ball somewhere, let me know, I could use it 😉
All signs point to YES. 🙂
;P
