44 Of 365 (366) For 2012

β€œIn my life long study of human beings,

I have found that no matter how hard they try,

they have found no way yet to prevent the arrival of Monday morning.

And they do try,

of course,

but Monday always comes,

and all the drones have to scuttle back to their dreary workday lives.”

    • Thank you πŸ™‚ Thank you for thinking of me I mean πŸ˜‰ Yes, today all is well – I had a little moment the day before yesterday (Phil refers to it as black saturday πŸ˜‰ ), where I hid out under the bathroom sink and proclaimed I would never leave it b/c I wasn’t capable of passing my exams and thus would bring shame to everybody who knows me. Phil did the only sensible thing: He let me sit on the cold bathroom tiles until they became too uncomfortable (which was sooner rather than later) and the brought me to bed and had me “sleep it off” πŸ˜‰ Just for the sake of full disclosure I should probably add that I was pms-ing and not eating chocolate, which in my case, is a rather lethal combination πŸ˜‰

    • Hah: One might argue that Tuesday through Thursday are just a strung together healing from the cruelty of Monday (with lots of horrible flashbacks πŸ˜‰ ). Friday is okay, you can start breathing a bit easier because you know there are only so-and-so-many-hours to go before the ultimate crazy hedonism of the weeksends (aka good books, warm blanket, nice food, comfy recliner πŸ˜‰ ) πŸ˜€

    • Well, then you probably noted I altered the quote just a tid bit (as to not demotivate everyone completely). It truly finish with:

“(..)and all the drones have to scuttle back to their dreary workday lives of meaningless toin and suffering.”
