56 Of 365 (366) For 2012

“The happiest people I know are not those who find their golden ticket;

they are those who,

while in pursuit of worthy goals,

discover and treasure the beauty and sweetness of the everyday moments.”

    • Thank you, Dena, so do I! I think this is a marvelous capture by Saul Landell (if you liked this you should really check out his Flickr stream which I linked back to bellow the photo). 🙂

      Thank you so much for stopping by, reading and taking the time to comment: I really do appreciate it! 🙂

        • No, unfortunately, I don’t know him personally and I have to admit that I did not ask his permission to share it on this blog either.

          However, usually, it is alright to share Flickr photos under the fair ussage principle meaning that as long as you link back to the photographer and accredit all rights to him and don’t temper with his photo in any way (editing etc.) that you are allowed to use it, unless he contacts you and asks you to take it down.

          -If you want to be entierly safe however (and I figure a bit more cordial than I was too), it would be advisable to contact him prior to use. I assume you should be able to do so through the Flickr links I provided bellow the photo 🙂

    • Yes, me too! (I got sandcrabs b.t.w., don’t ask 😉 – What did you get?)

      Thanks, Karen, you are so supportive in all your comments – I really REALLY appreciate it! 🙂

    • Oh, thank you so much, Dianne! It IS one of those things that we have to remind ourselves of so often 🙂 So glad you enjoyed it AND I’m psyched you liked it enough to take the time to read and comment: Very much appreciated! 🙂

    • Ha ha – yes I thought so too at first (well actually my first thought was “strange. why would someone take a photo of his kid taking a dump in the background, but then I saw the pants 😉 ).

      I love the composition of this shot and you are right it’s like something out of a Sci-Fi 😉

    • Thank you: I thought it was great little twist on “it’s not the final destination it’s the journey there” as well – also it had “golden ticket” in it and what can I say, I’m a sucker for Willy Wonka related stuff 😉
