Like a compass facing north,

Always.

You remember that, Mariam.<”

    • Yeah.

It’s pretty funny when you first read it and then, when you understand the contact in which the author used it, it suddenly becomes very real and pretty heavy.

I really want to read this book. The Kite Runner was wonderful and this book seems like a must read! 🙂

    • Thanks, f.p.p. … Not sure if I’d refer to them as “wonderful words”, but I agree that the message of this book is worth remembering. Sometimes we forget that the role of a woman in the western world isn’t at all representetive to what it is in other parts of the world – sadly. 🙂
