Yes. It’s very sad. The thing that I found saddest was that it took him forever to get through law-school and he finally passed his bar last december and he was so proud! You’ve never seen a kid smile as broadly as this one and then suddenly he was diagnosed with cancer and not even four monthes later he is dead?! I didn’t even know how serious it had gotten until it was too late.
He spent so much time working his butt of this degree and for what?! It really makes you think.

I’ve never actually read the book, but I found this quote and it struck so true with me in the light of this special young man passing away (way!) too soon. It did make me want to read it though – I think I like the concept of five people waiting for you when it’s your time to go. I know he’ll (my friend) will welcomed with open arms – Our loss is their win I guess
