62 Of 365 (366) For 2012

“The main thing I feel is a sense of relief.

That I can give up this game [for now].

That the question of whether I can succeed in this venture has been answered,

even if that answer is [may be] a resounding no.

That if desperate times call for desperate measures,

I am [might be] free to act as desperately as I want.”

  1. Yay! You finished! Congratulations! What’s the ‘next part’? I imagine results and a follow-up exam? I am so happy you made it through. You should party, in the ways you best party of course. 🙂

    • Thank you, Erik! – So happy this first step is over, you have no idea! 😉

Yes, the next step is results. Well actually not really results, but just a pass/fail regarding the advancement to the orals in July. Those results will be up end of May. Then, if you passed, you get your results 3 weeks later and start to prepare for the oral.
If you didn’t pass you get your final results end of May along with the fail notice.

In my case (since this was my 1st of 2 attempts) I will resit in in July (earliest possible date, since you have to formally apply a minimum of 6 weeks before the date).

So now it’s the waiting game (which I suck at!), but for now, I’m not thinking about all of that.

I’m just relaxing, watching old Disney movies and sleeping a lot. I decided to take the weekend off to recover – so that’s exactly what I’m doing.

So you’ll have me back come Monday (unless I realize I need a whole week off, then it would be the monday after) 😉

Thanks for being so supportive and patient: It really does mean the world to me! 😀

    • Thank you! 😀 And yes, I will! I realized today that my body is craving sleep – well that and Disney movies from the late 80s and early 90s – Fun, fun, fun 🙂 Can’t even begin to describe how relaxing it is knowing it’s done (for now) whatever the outcome – just for that feeling alone it was worth it! 😀
